If you’re looking for an inexpensive way to continue your child’s development in hockey over the spring think about joining All Star Hockey’s beginning PROS session (Position, Rules, Or Skills). All Star Hockey is offering our 8th annual PROS spring hockey session where your child can continue to improve his or her skills for the coming season. Tryouts begin in September so spring hockey could advance their skills even further. For another good, low-key, summer hockey session look for information on our 3 on 3 cross-ice (Shinny Hockey) program coming out soon.

Taught by the same coaches that teach Learn to Skate & Player Development for Waukesha Youth Hockey, your child will learn more about the fundamentals of their Position on the ice, Rules of the Game, Or more Skills they'll need on the ice to start them on their way to becoming a PRO someday. All right, they may not become a pro because of this session but they may find these skills very beneficial during tryouts in September. In each session we will concentrate on a few aspects of the game in order to answer questions such as "Where am I supposed to be on the ice when I play forward or defense? Where do I line up on a face off? What's off sides?" Passing, shooting, offensive and defensive skills will be practiced through the use of drills and games. In addition, we also have a short 5 min lecture after the on-ice session to reinforce what was taught on the ice and what hockey really teaches you about life; like obeying the rules, getting good grades, etc. Lastly, but most importantly, we also hope to instill a sense of team, confidence in one’s self and a sense of fun and joy in playing hockey.

Please sign up early because space is limited and the program usually fills up fast.

Time: Tuesday’s, 6:00 - 7:00 pm. starting April 7th and ending June 6th (10 weeks)
